NOOK Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: June 28, 2026. These terms cover NOOK pacts, verification, rewards, forfeits, wallet use, and public audit records.
Using NOOK
NOOK lets eligible users join commitment pacts, stake supported assets, and attempt to complete checkpoints under each pact's published rules.
By using NOOK, you agree to follow the pact rules, verification rules, settlement rules, and these terms.
Pacts And Verification
Each pact has rules that describe the target, checkpoint cadence, verification source, failure threshold, stake amount, entry timing, and settlement behavior.
NOOK may use connected data sources, mobile companion data, Open Wearables-supported providers, admin review, fraud checks, and automated verifier logs to decide checkpoint outcomes.
Manual, duplicated, manipulated, replayed, or unsupported evidence may be rejected.
Stakes, Rewards, And Forfeits
When a pact uses financial stakes, completing users may receive their returned stake plus an eligible share of forfeited stakes according to the pact's settlement rules.
Forfeited pools may be split between participant rewards, NOOK operations revenue, and NOOK token burn reserves according to the published policy for that pact.
Displayed rewards, bonus estimates, pool sizes, and completion rates can change until final settlement.
Wallets And Blockchain Risk
You are responsible for your wallet, private keys, seed phrase, device security, transactions you approve, and blockchain network fees.
Blockchain transactions may be public, irreversible, delayed, or affected by network congestion, wallet issues, RPC providers, smart contract bugs, or third-party services.
No Investment Advice
NOOK is not financial, investment, legal, tax, medical, or fitness advice.
Token prices can change. Rewards are not guaranteed. Do your own research before participating in any pact or token transaction.
Health And Safety
Only join pacts you can complete safely. Stop if an activity causes pain, illness, injury, or unsafe conditions.
NOOK does not provide medical guidance and is not a substitute for professional health advice.
Prohibited Conduct
Do not submit fake evidence, use another person's data, abuse multiple accounts, manipulate devices, exploit provider sync behavior, attack the service, interfere with settlements, or violate provider terms.
NOOK may reject evidence, freeze app access, require review, or remove users from pacts when abuse, fraud, security risk, or policy violations are suspected.
Disputes And Corrections
Verifier decisions may be reviewed when the pact rules allow review or when NOOK determines that a technical issue, provider outage, or fraud signal requires investigation.
Final settlement may depend on blockchain state, verifier logs, public audit records, and internal anti-abuse review.
Beta Service
NOOK is evolving. Features, supported providers, assets, settlement mechanics, fees, rewards, verification policies, and availability may change.
We may pause or limit features to protect users, fix issues, comply with law, or maintain service integrity.
